Brian Espinoza was raised with the understanding that honesty and hard work will get him all he needs in life. With this foundation he has become a successful business owner as well as a respected coach in the Mixed Martial Arts game. Brian has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under certification of Rickson Gracie’s first American Black belt Chris Saunders. And recently training under Royler Gracie. With this accolade no one can doubt his dedication to the aspects of a life in Martial Arts.

Due to martial arts becoming an everyday part of his life with the encouragement of friends and family he ventured to open his own Mixed Martial Arts gym. West Coast Jiu Jitsu was a family gym from the beginning. He saw the need for a gym that not only trained but nurtured fighters into becoming the best they could be. West Coast Jiu Jitsu became the first Mixed Martial Arts gym in Ventura County to specialize in all aspects of the game. All of his trainers have earned their training positions. Most of them are current and former fighters for his gym as well former coaches of his own.

Brian has been blessed with the chance to train with some of the best in our sport. Coach Brian was trained by the legendary Rickson Gracie and after proving himself worthy he became one of the Master Instructors best students.

Because of Brian’s enriched background and discrete training specialties he has been asked to train some of the best in Elite Law Enforcement as well Private Bodyguard Detail.
